Overview

The Terrain Advocate plays a vital role in the individuals healthy journey and in implementing the Metabolic Approach. Often being the initial guiding hand the Terrain Advocate assists in kick-starting the health journey, directing valuable resources, and aiding in assembling the team of expert practitioners to support the healing process.

As a Terrain Advocate, one serves as a:

Translator: assisting clients in comprehending their physician's advice and recommendations.
Bridge: connecting physicians and patients, fostering better communication.
Navigator: guiding patients through their unique cancer journey.
Educator: informing and empowering about the why and what can be done.

Terrain Ten

Our approach focuses on transforming the cancer terrain (the patient’s body and environment) by addressing key elements that play a crucial role in prevention and healing.

He is also a respected thought leader in the cannabis science field, having founded and directed a state-certified testing laboratory. With over 20 years of experience in physician consults and research in environmental medicine and oncology, Steve is currently the Chief Scientific Officer of Research at the Metabolic Terrain Institute of Health and Metabolic Terrain Omics.

What happens after I graduate?

What is Dr. Nasha's goal with the program?

Since The Metabolic Approach to Cancer was published in 2017, the waitlist to consult with Dr. Nasha as a patient was over 12 months. Dr. Nasha knew she had to begin teaching physicians to help support the millions of people struggling, but within six months of offering doctor-to-doctor consults, the wait list also encroached on a year out. Last year she embarked on the physician training courses, which has been an enormous success. The physicians who have graduated are already overwhelmed with the demand. We now need advocates to bridge physicians and their patients to implement the terrain-based approach.

Do I need to have a medical background to take this course?

After taking this course will I have the skills to work in the health care industry?

Will this course empower me to consult with people on prevention?

How is this course different from other cancer patient advocate programs?

I have learned so much in the Terrain Advocate Program, and what I love is, Dr. Nasha sees the whole person. She looks at all the labs, she looks at their lifestyle, she looks at their genetics, she looks at their emotional and spiritual and mental states – because it's all connected. She looks at the whole person to understand their entire Terrain, and that's what I would love to see the future of medicine move towards.
