About
The metabolic approach resonates with her core beliefs that each person deserves individualized treatments, not a one-size-fits-all protocol.
Dr. Young believes in the importance of a well-balanced life and remains intensely passionate about helping others return to or create a healthier life.
Dr. Niki Young, ND, graduated with a BS in Biochemistry in 1998 from the University of Detroit Mercy, then went to work in various positions involving chemistry. She developed a chronic illness that eventually led her to find naturopathic medicine in 2005 and graduating from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2010. She has been studying integrative oncology methods since 2012 and found that the metabolic approach resonates with her core beliefs that each person deserves individualized treatments, not a one-size-fits-all protocol. She understands that no two patients experience cancer in the same way, even with similar diagnoses. Utilizing an in-depth analysis of laboratory tests, investigative health history questionnaires, and evaluating the patient’s symptoms, she strives to provide the best plan of treatment for each individual patient she encounters.
Typical treatment protocols may involve a combination of supplements, diet and lifestyle modifications, intravenous therapy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT), Viscum Album Extract (mistletoe), and Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN). She believes in the importance of a well-balanced life and remains intensely passionate about helping others return to or create a healthier life. Currently, she can be found at Dr. Niki Young Naturopathic in Fair Oaks, California. She sees patients in-office and virtually via the telemedicine platform, Doxy.me.
