About
Katrina had her own journey with breast cancer many years ago and addressed things 100% naturally. That process introduced her to functional labs and opened up a whole new world that inspired her to voraciously learn more about the human body and what had just happened to her. Katrina remembers well the feelings of fear, overwhelm, and frustration when she found the cancer and keeps that at the forefront of her work now with others as she guides them on their own healing journey. She knows that this journey is hard and so she has developed her program to give clients a personalized approach with direct access to her when they need it – she is always just a text/email away!
The keto diet is not only something that Katrina uses with her clients that have cancer, but she also is practicing it on a daily basis. All of the devices and treatments that she recommends to her clients, she has extensively researched and tried herself so that she can speak from experience when talking to clients – because she is a firm believer in practicing what you preach. She and her family have even moved to rural Idaho to raise their own pastured, organic chicken, beef, and eggs and live in a less toxic environment (she actually has her computer hardwired in!). Katrina’s family jokes that she eats books as her source of fiber because she is always continuing her education, usually multiple books and courses at a time. She is a functional nutritional therapist through the Nutritional Therapy Association and is board certified in holistic nutrition. Katrina is a Master Restorative Wellness Solutions Practitioner, a 2-year intensive program where she learned to interpret functional labs, as well as having been faculty for them since 2020. Katrina is also excited to be certified by Dr. Nasha Winters as a Metabolic Approach To Cancer Practitioner. She read Dr. Nasha’s book when she was cancering and it became her goal to be trained by her because she is so passionate about the terrain approach and helping others.
Katrina’s passion is that cancer clients need to know that whether they use the standard of care or alternative choices when addressing their cancer, they need to address their terrain drivers – the reason why the cancer was allowed to proliferate – so that they can stay in remission and live a vibrant life! Katrina and her husband, Larry, own a Pilates studio, Personalized Pilates, in Scottsdale, Arizona where they focus on post-rehabilitation work and Pilates teacher training. Katrina is also an international presenter both for Pilates and Nutrition. Her book, Nutritional Pilates; Relieve Joint Pain, Lose Unwanted Weight, and Prevent Chronic Disease to Become Your Most Vibrant Self! will be released in January of 2023. Katrina works virtually with clients internationally and she will connect her clients with local resources for in-person modalities as appropriate. Since she is not a licensed practitioner, she does not use pharmaceuticals but does work with her clients’ practitioners for those if needed. Katrina strives to provide VIP service combining state-of-the-art, custom protocols with lots of love and empathy.
