About
Excited to help share his knowledge and passion for truth with those seeking an integrative/functional approach to health.
Micah founded Worldview Wellness, an online medical consultation service, with his wife Tye to help share his knowledge and passion for truth with those seeking an integrative/functional approach to health. Tye is a graduate of the Terrain Advocate Program and is Worldview Wellness’s client advocate. She helps each client walk through the detailed aspects of their individualized plan.
Micah has been in the medical profession since 2003 with his start on ambulances as an EMT/Paramedic, then transitioning shortly after to the emergency department in the DFW metroplex. He eventually sought a deeper understanding of medicine, health, and a more profound ability to affect change through pursuing a medical degree. He received a master’s degree from the Texas Tech Physician Assistant program in 2010. He has experience in emergency medicine, family medicine, geriatric medicine, urology, interventional pain management, internal medicine, urgent care, and Integrative/Functional medicine. After several years of practicing a conventional or standard of care approach to medicine it became quite clear to Micah that something was missing… patients were not healing. He discovered that there had been a massive shift in modern times to focus on controlling the symptoms of disease without a clear understanding of the deeper root causes of dysfunction in the human body. This shift created a curiosity that led to research and ultimately to a passion for integrative/functional medicine.
Micah’s pursuit of truth in medicine comes from his personal philosophy of pursuing truth in all things. He believes the best way to achieve health and wellness is through having a robust worldview that is truth centered and acknowledges that genuine science has always sought truth no matter where it leads. Real science requires debate, and never involves censorship. Before starting Worldview Wellness, he worked for several years at Veritas Medical in Lubbock, Texas where he trained in integrative medicine under Dr. Ben Edwards, M.D. While there, he was the lead clinician among a team of integrative medical providers focused on the root causes of disease.
After completing the Metabolic Approach to Cancer Master program, his focus changed to a more detailed, individualized, terrain-centric approach to cancer and general wellness. Through Worldview Wellness, he now uses a consultation model focused on utilizing detailed personal and family histories, health timelines, cutting-edge laboratory evaluations including genetics, and other diagnostics to individualize medical therapies, emotional wellness, nutrition, and healthy lifestyles. This terrain centered approach allows him to correct imbalances in the underlying physiology and reverse the foundational causes of “dis-ease”. As a graduate of the Metabolic Approach to Cancer Master program, he is excited to help share his knowledge and passion for truth with those seeking an integrative/functional approach to health.
